Developed by primary care physicians for primary care physicians, CeCN has been selected by government agencies, leading health plans and primary care practices to provide this highly efficient, effective service.

    Responsibilities

    Community eConsult Network (CeCN) is seeking a motivated, experienced individual interested in joining a rapidly growing team of health care innovators improving access to specialty care and reducing inefficiency in the healthcare system. CeCN’s eConsult service links primary care providers with specialists in a wide range of disciplines. EConsults are asynchronous, non-face-to-face consultations between a primary care provider and a specialist that utilize secure messaging to exchange information. This process has significant benefits for patients and providers and allows more rapid access to needed knowledge and care -- and quicker triage for patients that may still need face to face care with a specialist. CeCN is expanding nationally and seeking a Specialty Network Manager to grow and strengthen its eConsult team. The Specialty Network Manager is responsible for recruiting, training, supervising, and maintaining a high quality network of eConsult specialists for CeCN and for collaborating with the CeCN senior leadership on all strategic planning matters related to specialty care. In addition, the position will oversee CeCN’s quality assurance and complain resolution process.

    • ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Build and maintain CeCN’s eSpecialist Network.
    • Identify, engage, recruit and submit to CeCN Credentialing Committee eSpecialists qualified to support CeCN business.
    • Process eSpecialists’ state telemedicine licenses in any state or US territory as instructed by CeCN.
    • With guidance from CHCI legal department Subcontractor will process eSpecialists contracts.
    • With guidance from CHCI legal department Subcontractor will maintain eSpecialist medical malpractice coverage.
    • Maintain up to date documentation of provider credentialing (including delegated credentialing) as required by CeCN customers in conformity with state and federal regulations.
    • Document and report to the CeCN Credentialing Committee eSpecialists credentialing and licensure status at least once every quarter.
    • Write and maintain current the CeCN Credentialing Policies and Procedures Manual.
    • Lead the Credentialing Committee meetings (agenda, candidate provider roster and documentation, minutes, filings, and follow-up tasks).
    • Manage eConsult referral load
    • In discharging the CeCN eSpecialist Network duties Subcontractor will supervise CeCN staff assigned to support the eSpecialist Network
    • In collaboration with CeCN leadership team develop quality improvement goals and objectives for CeCN eSpecialists
    • Maintain current the CeCN Quality Improvement Policies and Procedures
    • Develop distance learning training materials for eSpecialists
    • Conduct initial and ongoing eSpecialist training and education.
    • Manage eSpecialists network quality to maintain the highest level of professionalism and eConsult excellence. Specific functions include
    • Lead the Quality Improvement Committee meetings (agenda, candidate provider roster and documentation, minutes, filings, and follow-up tasks
    • Management of eSpecialist complaints in conformity with CeCN Policies and Procedures.
    • In collaboration with Data Management and Analytics assemble and distribute regular QI reports the CeCN Quality Improvement Committee, eSpecialists and CeCN customers.
