  • Overview

CeCN’s national network of board-certified specialists provides rapid electronic consultations to primary care providers, improving access to specialty care for patients in medically underserved areas of the U.S. Approximately one in four visits to a community health center results in a request for specialty care, so e-consult demand for at-risk patients is booming. By “moving knowledge not patients”, CeCN eliminates geographic barriers to care, reduces health care disparities and leads to significant cost savings, better health outcomes and improved patient satisfaction. Developed by primary care physicians for primary care physicians, CeCN has been selected by government agencies, leading health plans and primary care practices to provide this highly efficient, effective service.

Community eConsult Network (CeCN) is seeking a motivated, experienced individual interested in joining a rapidly growing team of health care innovators improving access to specialty care and reducing inefficiency in the healthcare system. EConsults are asynchronous, non-face-to-face consultations between a primary care provider and a specialist that utilize secure messaging to exchange information.
