As a Trainer for Community Health Center, you will:

  • Provide on-site and virtual training support to clinical staff in the usage of the EHR, EHR related-tools, and other business applications
  • Train users on software applications at all levels of the organization and all CHC site locations, with focus on the  EHR and New Hire Technical Training
  • Train multi-disciplinary clinical users on clinical workflows and policies as related to clinical applications
  • Assess clinical training needs, communicate needs to direct manager and clinical supervisors, and clinical chiefs
  • Utilize multiple delivery methods for staff training such as face-to-face, classroom, virtual, eLearning, online, and blended
  • Utilize the tools of the day to develop training curriculum for adult learners, such as PowerPoint, MS Office, Adobe Captivate, SnagIt, HealthStream, and others
  • Work with CHC Training Group team to look for innovative products and training methods to improve our delivery methods and meet the needs of a growing organization
  • Provide implementation training support for  business re-engineering projects to include needs assessment, training, and evaluation of competencies
  • Complete daily administrative tasks to include training prep, instructional design, schedule management, and documentation of end-user support
  • Attend training-related conferences, webinars, and workshops


Minimum Qualifications: 

  • A Bachelor’s degree and/or 5 years of work experience in end-user training and/or implementation training support
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in providing end-user application training or training support to adult learners
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in curriculum design
  • Demonstrated utilization of strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability of utilizing critical thinking and listening skills
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve end-user application related-issues
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new applications, as well as a demonstrated ability to transfer knowledge to end-users
  • Demonstrated ability to produce and maintain end-user training materials
  • Demonstrated ability to manage ever-growing training requirements and organization
  • Expert-level MS Office user

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience with training eClinicalWorks, GE Centricity, Open Dental or other EHR applications in medical, behavioral health, or dental environments
  • At least 2 years of experience with ambulatory clinic workflows and processes
  • At least 1+ years of experience with developing eLearning courses, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, or Articulate
  • Experience with managing or supporting LMS for corporate or clinical training
  • Experience as MS Office  Application Trainer
