Provide financial analytical support to CFO and Controller. Completes analytical projects in such areas as budgeting, monthly review of financial results, and financial modeling.  Fulfill report and dashboard requirements for various finance and accounting projects across the organization.


  • BA/BS in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • Masters degree or professional certification in related field a plus.
  • At least seven years accounting/financial management experience
  • Proficient to expert level skills in Excel, Word, Access and a web based General Ledger Package (Workday)
  • Ability to present financial information to management
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Expert budget management, and financial analysis
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Regular access to reliable vehicle for regional travel.
  • Valid drivers’ license


  1. Provide comprehensive support to company budget preparation, including needs assessment with senior managers, prioritization of budget needs, analysis of budget requests, review of budget data, drafting of budget package, and collaboration with HR staff regarding position control and vacant position analysis.
  2. Assist with budget control by monitoring budgeted vs. actual financial performance, analyzing monthly budget results and preparing manager and BOD reports. In conjunction with Business Intelligence, develop models, procedures, and protocols for reporting in concert with company goals.
  3. Complete long-range financial modeling to support budget scenario analysis and long-range financial planning
  4. Assist grant accounting function through preparation of grant accounting reports, grant accounting analysis and consultation with grant project managers and senior managers. Work with Business Intelligence to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial and grant data.
  5. Assist in development and review of building construction and major maintenance projects. Track expenditures vs. budgets and provider regular reports on costs, expense projections and funding.
  6. Assist in review, drafting and development of financial policies and procedures.
  7. Assist in internal audit projects
  8. Complete other projects and responsibilities as required.
  9. Maintains compliance with agency mandated annual training.



Position spends most hours working from a desk and computer. Must be able to fully operate computer and telephone and prepare written paperwork. Must be able to travel regionally.




40 hours per week with some evening and weekend hours as necessary.  Ability to work flexible schedule required.
