In addition, the organization has developed three wholly owned subsidiaries from the original pilot developments within the Weitzman Institute: the National Nurse Practitioner Residency and Fellowship Training Consortium (NNPRFTC), the National Institute for Medical Assistant Advancement, and the Community eConsult Network.


    General Responsibilities


    The Quality Improvement Data Analyst is responsible for supporting all aspects of data analysis for the Quality Improvement Department and the Performance Improvement Committee. The position works in collaboration with members of the senior leadership team and the QI Department to measure interventions that improve quality and ensure attainment of all agency performance improvement goals. The position is expected to employ advanced data analytic skill to ensure that the agency is able to take maximum advantage of all available data and utilize it to provide the highest quality of care. The position is expected to exercise judgement and independent initiative and support the entire QI team.


    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) in a related discipline, Masters preferred
    • Demonstrated experience analyzing and reporting health care quality improvement data and using it to improve quality
    • Quality improvement experience with a focus on data and measurement
    • Advanced data analytic skills using SPSS, SAS or other statistical software for a minimum of two years
    • Experience with Tableau
    • Proven experience developing and conducting surveys and establishing measures to assess performance and progress
    • Demonstrated proficiency and ability to learn new software quickly
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel and Access
    • Strong interpersonal, organizational, time-management and prioritization skills; ability to multi-task and a keen attention to detail
    • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
    • Knowledge of electronic health record systems
    • Experience with or background in quality improvement; Six Sigma experience a plus
    • Current Driver’s license


    Job Responsibilities


    The primary responsibilities for this role include:

    • Manage the collection, analysis and reporting of data to support attainment of Performance Improvement goals.
    • Coordinate and assist with agency-wide quality improvement initiatives
    • Initiate and coordinate the development of quality improvement measures for the agency including but not limited to key measures for medical, behavioral health, dental, and agency operational measures 
    • Initiate and coordinate the development of dashboards and systems that track clinical and operational progress of quality improvement
    • Benchmark and assess progress of CHCI against other community health centers in the state and nation
    • Maintain and coordinate compliance for the quality improvement department, specifically for CHCI Coaches
    • Assist in the drafting, editing, and preparation of QI documents and presentations using Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
    • Coordinate information collection and develop, publish, and distribute quarterly reports
    • Analyze QI data from various sources and use it to develop new solutions to improve quality in specific areas
    • Support clinical care teams with data regularly and as needed to improve clinical performance.
    • Support the execution of an annual, agency-wide quality improvement data collection and monitoring plan to support the annual performance improvement plan
    • Provide analysis and support to the PI committee to set annual performance improvement target goals
    • Maintain agency Performance Improvement Scorecard
    • Analyze QI data from various sources and use it to develop new solutions to improve quality in specific areas
    • Develop new data reports, scorecards, and dashboards to support agency QI goals and objectives
    • Provide support to QI coaches with regards to data collection plans and data analysis
    • Provide other departmental support when necessary



    Excellent oral and written skills are required. This position is highly involved with leadership, staff, providers, clients, colleagues, outside vendors and the community.
